Walking these routes is beautiful and certainly jaw dropping, but can be dangerous as the elevation changes in difference of 200 ft. (60 m). The Niagara Gorge is part of the Niagara Escarpment which is recognized as a world unique natural wonder and topographical feature in Southern Ontario. The Escarpment is formed of bedrock from the Great Lake basin and trails 725 km starting in Niagara Falls and ending near the Wisconsin- Illinois border. The Niagara Escarpment offers many hiking trails and outdoor activities costing little to no admission. Get out and enjoy the fresh air!

A very popular attraction during the Fall is winery tours. Wineries will be going through their Harvest preparing their grapes for next season. TAKING A STROLL THROUGH HISTORY & BEAUTY 

 

Sir Winston Churchill once called Niagara-on-the-Lake ‘Canada’s prettiest little town. Today, millions of visitors will stop and visit Niagara-on-the-Lake to explore the many boutiques, wineries, art galleries, theatres and the Niagara Parkway. The parkway is famous for its long and winded walking path above the Niagara River spanning 5km (34mi) in length. The Niagara Parkway travels from Fort Erie, Ontario through Niagara Falls, Queenston and Niagara-on-the-Lake.

 

STEP BACK IN HISTORY 

 

Explore the grounds at old Fort George located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Learn what it was like to live during the War of 1812. Tour the grounds, shop at their souvenir boutique, learn the stories. Ghost tours are also available in the evenings.
