Canadian and United States Borders
Getting You Here
Four easy access entrances into Canada.
Hornblower Niagara Cruises is conveniently located in the heart of Niagara Falls, Canada and is only a short drive from Buffalo and Niagara Falls, New York. There are four main entrance points from Buffalo, New York and Niagara Falls, New York to enter into Canada.
The Peace Bridge
Built in 1925, the bridge gained its name from the 100 years of Peace between the United States and Canada. Each year the bridge sees 4.7 million commuters cross from Buffalo, New York to Fort Erie, Ontario. The Peace Bridge is a 20-minute drive along the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) to Hornblower Niagara Cruises.
When driving or walking over the Rainbow Bridge during our operating season you will be lucky enough to see our boats from atop of the bridge. This is the closest bridge to our attraction with less than a 3-minute drive once you cross into Niagara Falls, Canada. Holiday weekends such as Victoria Day (May 20th), Canada Day (July 1st) and Labour Day (Sept 7th) are some of the holiday weekends that can lead to heavier border crossing traffic. Plan to allow extra time to cross.
The Queenston-Lewiston Bridge is the second closet bridge aside from the Rainbow Bridge and is located 20-minutes from Hornblower Niagara Cruises. This bridge connects HWY 405 in Queenston, Ontario and the Interstate 90 in Lewiston, NY. Following the QEW or the famous Niagara Parkway will you bring you to our attraction in less than 25-minutes.
Whirlpool Rapids Bridge
The Whirlpool Rapids bridge connects Niagara Falls, NY to Niagara Falls, Canada. This bridge is for NEXUS holders only.
